RAS aka Rent-a-Studio (in central) & it’s all because of separate slot-car upgrading projects posted on the WhatsApp group chat.
About question ...
Over the years, racing IROC slot-cars at FRC & TSCC was very entertaining ~ but overtime the owners of these 2 circuits end up dubbing this sort of competition as a Beginners class. A direction you’ll (explained) found suitable for new individuals developing tuning skills for the many other racing classes.
All well and good but I believe it pushed aside racing persons who would rather just come out and contest (without all the trappings) with other 1:32 racing hotshots.
Mind you, that said doesn’t mean IROC events for the pros will rekindle my slot-car (tuning & racing) passion.
Watching the grass grow green because of the state of the country & (by extension) the world ~ isn’t such a bad idea these days
