Guys, check this out:

The Digital Slot Car Association (DiSCA) defines itself as existing "to promote digital slot car racing and share best practice for governance of competition and car standards."

There's a lot of info on their website, but the first thing that stood out for me is their rules. I often wonder if our FRC rules are part of the reason that we are not seeing a lot of participation and new racers, but anyone who thinks our rules are complicated needs to read through the various DiSCA rules. Please take the time to browse through the above links to get a feel for how serious they are about their rules. There are some General regs that may be worth adopting at FRC. Examples are 1.3, 1.6.4 and 1.10.

Whew ! That sure is a lot to digest. Very glad for FRC's relatively simple and straightforward rules..
