Guide flag poll

Guys,

AM, GT and LMP are open classes so any guide flags are allowed. Our IROC classes are for identically set-up cars which are largely stock. The remaining classes allow some changes ranging from minor to moderate, so let's clarify the guide flag issue for them.

Please vote in the poll above whether or not any guide flags should be allowed in the remaining classes. You have up to 2 weeks to vote and you can change your choices any number of times.

I think only two classes SC and MP,since you can do more modifications. The rest of the classes are really stock with little options so in that case I will say they should be stock.

Checking this morning I realised that I had not enabled the option to re-vote so I set that up and extended the poll to Wednesday 30th January to allow FRC drivers to make any changes to their choices in the poll.

The highest number of votes to allow changing of guide flags for any one class was four, therefore here are the votes for each class as a percentage of four:

• F1 - 50%
• HS - 25%
• SC - 100%
• VS - 25%
• RGT - 75%
• MP - 100%
• IC - 50%

Based on these results, its clear that:

1. Classes with less than 50% must run standard guide flags (HS, VS)
2. Classes with more than 50% can use any guide flags (SC, RGT, MP)

For classes with a 50% vote (F1, IC), we need to re-vote or use other means to determine an outcome.

Thanks for the info.

I think F1 is basically a sock car race the only change is a button magnet. We should leave the stock guide blade.
IC have no idea. Never race an Indy car.
