One other tip,

If you are photographing an object and want to remove background easily in PhotoShop or similar program, use a Green Background, similar to colour of Gordon's base before it was upgraded to Diorama Status

Thats considered the de-facto standard, I'm guessing that the Artificial Intelligence in PhotoShop type software is set up to lift people out of a grassy background
