To all 132 racers,
The Model Car Association of T&T is having a
slotcar racing Event ~
Valpark Shopping Plaza @
1 pm - Saturday 31th. October 2015
I remembered Arden telling me about this upcoming
MCA event (at the end of this month) and that he's planning on going ...
I am also sort of thinking about it and will use the balance of week - if to do so
Anyone else thinking about taking part in this competition

MCATT also has a Facebook page with updated information for those who are on Facebook.
Luke, how are your FRC-class cars coming along? While its nice to see your interest in racing outside of FRC, it would be even better to see you once again drive your own cars in non-IROC FRC events.

GG,
Yes, I took it upon myself posting this topic and did realize/think afterwards that MCA has a facebook page ... so you're correct - it wasn't really necessary for me to give this info. I believe this only happened because of a short discussion with David Dean about being present (invited) at this upcoming event. It was a bit unclear what classes were being raced so that's why there was a second post with his (David D.) contact info finding out more about this event.

Me again GG,
To answer your question on -
how are my (11) FRC-class cars coming along ...
- 1. Restricted GT
2. Historic Saloon
3. Vintage Sports
4. Group 5 Sports Cars
5. RC
6. Modified Production
7. F1
8. Slot.It Challenge
9. American Muscle
10. GT
11. LMP
I am happy to say that they are all still there but I'm not too happy to say - they are all still in the same
(non-competitive) racing conditions for the past 4 FRC racing cycles, which was since December
2014. That being said, and with a full year just two months away - December
2015. I have to mention and not getting too personal here - this was a very trying and testing year for me. Not complaining though because I recognize there was always a helping hand for all conditions and I always remember to give thanks for and up above ...
In a sense - my interest for re-tuning my SSD slotcars
(making them competitive) was somewhat put on the
"back burner" and for argument sake (and personal circumstances) looking for the good in the bad.
What's nice about this situation is ~ I am still around 132 racing ... and ten to one in
2016 too
God willing of course.
