Scalextric chips and slimline (FF) motors for HS, VS, etc.

Guys,
O'Brie pointed out to me that we may have trouble sourcing new Scalextric saloon chips and Scalextric slimline motors. Some of our HS cars use the saloon chips and many use 18K RPM FF motor. I did a check first of all at scalextric.com and they no longer list the saloon chips on their digital accessories page. Searching for motors, aside from FF motors under 18K, the only one available directly from Scalextric in the UK is W9049 (long shaft for F1 cars). The short shaft W9207 is out of stock and priced very low (£2.99), making me wonder whether it will be available in the future.
Professor motor lists no Scalextric FF motors at all. Electric Dreams only has the red Scalextric FF motor available. 132 Slot Car has only the red, green and black Scalextric FF motors. HotSlots has no Scalextric FF motors available. The great new Pendle site (based in the UK, Scalextric's homeland) lists no Scalextric motors at all!
You get the idea.
With respect to the unavailable saloon chips, its not really a big thing since the Scalextric F1 chips are still available. The motors however will present a problem which we will need to resolve.
