TSCC RACING OCT 8TH
TSCC RACING OCT 8TH
Hi guys racing this Thursday at Marabella , OPEN MODIFY AND DTM BENZ. Start time 7pm.
Re: TSCC RACING OCT 8TH
Hello Ramesh, other TSCC racers and Arden again,
Sorry I couldn't make it to the Marabella Racing Ring last night - even though I had all plans and racing items in place showing up at this event.
So much so, I was even in touch with Arden earlier in the day (as well as in the "sunny" evening) letting him know you'll guys will see me @ TSCC later - God will of course - and he Arden (with regular south boys hospitality for us north boys) even suggested I stop off at his home parking my car and then going across to the track in his car.
Mind you, leaving home around 5:45 pm for the 7:00 pm racing (start) time in Sando ...
It was raining when I left Petit Valley and thinking it was just in the valley ... I realized I was very wrong with that thought because it was raining all the way up to Barataria and by that time it was already 6:45 pm in bumper to bumper traffic.
Well, I had to give Arden a call informing him about the situation and found out it was raining in south as well ... So with intel like that - knew then I had to make a decision with Arden still on the phone, that I was turning left by Solo Bottling Works and was back home by 7:00 pm on the dot.
Parking up the car noticing that time ... I wondered if I had continued - what time would I have reached TSCC ..?
Yes, I may have reached but late and feeling exhausted because I was already tired from almost 2 hours of driving just trying to get to TSCC & getting back home.
I told myself the same thing I tell my children after a tuff day at school - Some days are ... better than others.
Sure next time should be better A-okay and hope TSCC still had a great night of 132 racing
Luke

Re: TSCC RACING OCT 8TH
Hi Luke T ,it was a great night of racing, we did miss you hope to see you soon. the best lap time of 1.702sec for open modify was done by Luke B , he only dropped in for lap times and not class racing. see you all on Thur.
Re: TSCC RACING OCT 8TH
WOW Ram and glad to read you'll had a great event.
Your son Luke B. setting express numbers (1.702sec) like that on a 44' TRL circuit sounds incredible.
I am sorry I missed out because it must have been a sight to see such speeds and more so for one actually trying to control such power.
It leaves me wondering though - how close other modified cars where to that super quick time ..

Re: TSCC RACING OCT 8TH
Ramesh - Another way sizing up this blinding time is ... racing for 20 laps @ TSCC and finishing way under a minute - 34.04 seconds
The only thing though - there's no room whatsoever for any errors going for a grand WIN at such blistering speeds
Luke
