Four new cars and a new FRC driver

Guys,
FRC will be seeing at least four new cars in the near future. Leading off are these two beauties from FRC newcomer (but yet to drive the track) Gary Bennett, alias Killer_B on the FRC forum. First off is this beautiful Revell-Monogram Cobra Dytona which Gary pulled out of his old slot car collection on a recent trip back to his home in the USA:
He also bought a brand new Slot.It Ford GT-40 Mk II in a livery never seen at FRC before:
Gary dropped them off to FRC on Saturday evening for me to chip and to put on the silicones he bought for them. They're now ready for their first test on the challenging FRC circuit.
The other two cars belong to yours truly. First off is my new Peugeot 205 rally car:
Only when I saw the picture at actual size did I appreciate the amazing detail that goes into slot cars of the modern era:
My second car was just received today and its a new challenger for our Group 5 Sports Car class, a Ferrari 312PB. This one was driven in 1972 by one of my F1 heroes, the great Ronnie Peterson in his signature blue helmet with yellow visor:
So four new cars and a new FRC driver. Not a bad bit of news, eh?
Gordon
