FRC 2-Hours preparations

Hi Guys,
As our landmark 2-hour endurance event draws nearer, O'Brie has played the major part in installing a roll-down tarpaulin to give us shade during the daylight hours and shelter from rain at any time. Here are a few pics I just took during a pretty windy period.
Rolled up and out of the way:
Rolled down:
Scalextric GT Challenge cars:
As part of the supporting races, we'll be racing our newest IROC class, Scalextric GT Challenge. In order to create more equality and better drivability between the two Ferraris, two Porsches and two Lambos, I've trued the tyres and balanced the magnets to within 9 gm, lowest to highest (they were 39 gm difference before). I did this by bringing all the cars as close as possible to the one which had the highest downforce. The lowest was 152 gm, the highest 191 gm (without bodies). They are now 187 gm and 196 gm, respectively (with bodies). This should make for some closer driving and less de-slotting. Here are some pics taken after finishing the work:
Ferraris
Porsches
Lambos
All ready to go!
