Sounds interesting. I would say though, that if they are going to be raced on the Marabella analogue track that they probably would perform better without the digital chips as these reduce motor performance slightly as well as reduce braking effect. Doesn't really make a difference to the racing though, as all the cars should be affected equally.

Here's an update for this (post) new IROC class in 2014 - The proposed plans to make this happen for FRC & TSCC...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FRC's "Digital" cars/car set-up...

A. Six Scalextric (High Impact) Nissan GT-R Cars...

C2990 Nissan GT-R... red - c/o Arden
C2991 Nissan GT-R... silver - c/o Luke
C3072 Nissan GT-R... white - c/o Luke
C3174 Nissan GT-R... gold - c/o Ramesh
C3184 Nissan GT-R... Stillen No. 975 livery - c/o Gordon

Already have the top 5 cars listed...

ATM - finding out about getting the sixth car, to make up the new IROC (6 Cars) Nissan GT-R class...

B. Six Motors...

H&R Racing Cobra FC130 motor - 26K rpm with 11Z S/Winder brass pinions. c/o Gordon

C. Six pairs Silicone Rear Tyres...

Maxxtrac M02, 21 or 45 Tyres.

D. Six Digital Chips...

Slot It SISP15 (New Type) SSD digital chip for the extra durability.

This new IROC (digital/analouge) Nissan GT-R class & the six new Digital TruSpeed Hand Controllers from Steve Hills, will go well together - whichever one comes first in 2014 :D

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TSCC's "Analouge" car/chassis set-up...

A. Six Completely built "ready to race" C2991 Nissan GT-R Chassis...

W9885 Chassis with front axle assembly
W9882 Rear axle assembly/rubber tyres
W9459 Non-digital module (cover) for plug ready cars
W8164 Motor 18K rpm complete with wires or any other motor "rpm" suggestion...
C8329 Round Guide blade
W8475 Magnet

B. Six pairs Silicone Rear Tyres...

Maxxtrac M02, 21 or 45 Tyres

This means with these 6 chassis set-ups, will only have to change the 6 bodies over for racing San Fernando/TSCC's first IROC analouge class :)

Tell me what you'll think - your brother in arms.

BTW, this project is still full speed ahead & on track for next year - not sure when though but know it will be in 2014...

I even have a great name for it - The Nissan GT-R "IROC" Super Series event & NSS abbreviation, ;)

Hi Guys
Would this Nissan GTR IROC Series be open to me entering ?
And excuse the dumb question as I'm not sure how this works.
Are cars prepped and I buy the car or do I have to buy my own car and hand it in to be prepped ?
I would appreciate some feedback but if this is open to "Rookie's", I'd like to be considered.
Let me know.
Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian,

Merry Christmas!!!

There is no such thing as a dumb question - only a dumb answer ent :D

So being the rookie (you say) you are, thats the nice thing about these four ready to race classes... You or anyone else can just show up and race in any of the (abbreviated: PC, LS, FTC or MC) IROC events.

Chata again,

Luke
