All,

We have finally concluded all the classes for the beginning of our 2013 Season.
This will be our very first venture in hosting a competition. What is even better is the fact that we are having a Season competition. It is our intentions to run at least 10 race meetings and hopefully have prizes and throphies for the different classes as well as a Champion Driver.

Hi Arden,
nice to see that you guys are getting ready to go racing and have a proper set of rules. There are a few things I'm wondering about though . These are as follows:
1) What's the reason for allowing tinting of glass and removal of interiors if lightening of bodies is not allowed ?
2) If windows are not tinted (therefore interior would be visible) must there be a driver ?
3) One of the classes allows lightening of bodies but not the drilling out of them. Would drilling out of the chassis be permitted ?
Steve
PS. Hope to see you at FRC on Thursday !

Steve,

We are trying to include all persons who have full detail cars, hence they can remove the interior and have tinted glass. We are trying to keep the cars realistic we dont want to see a motor on the inside. If the interior is removed we will will to see the glass tinted so as not to see inside like the high impact cars.
GTU Class Drilling out the chassis will be permitted. We want the cars to look like cars and not a strainer.
Outlaw anything goes.

Hope to see you taking part.

Arden ~ FRC's (back to back) F1 Champion :)

This is a real nice "post" topic but going through the rules, one thing I noticed the most.

How did you come up in the F1 class with the 2 Magnets - Bar & Barrel (No Loading)

You first had it worded "Not in same location" but this new way sounds very polished & like knowing one's slot car builds

Have a feeling you heard me asking GG if you could put F1 magnets one on top each other..?

You are so correct.

We need to make sure everyone is on the same page and understand the rules.

Hi Arden,
if everything not specifically mentioned in the rules is prohibited, I assume that non-magnetic weight is considered a modification. Please confirm.
Thanks,
Steve

Arden ~ Questions for so boy...

Bet you wondering if Steve's last question is for him planning going down south to race this year.

I just want to know when races starting and if the classes posted are in that running order. Time is of the essence because so much cars to choose from to set-up for north & now south Trinidad.

I am thinking about setting up some of my cars to race 6 out of the 8 classes at TSC.

They are the Scalextric "Saloon" Sidewinders (aka FRC's RGT), Slot It Challenge & F1 :)

Then these three fast classes GT, AM & LMP :D

 Arden ~ here's 2 cool classes (stock & modified) groupings for race days in south and the GTU & Outlaw classes could be known as blowout night 8-)

BTW - With these FRC's racing class duplications, did you pay for your copyrights?

Steve,

You are correct. It is exactly what it means. NOT MENTION PROHIBITED!
Are you going to be racing at TSCC?
