Fellas ~ I got this info from Ray and like the idea very much for FRC's PC, LS & FTC classes...

http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.p ... opic=59898

Check it out and tell me if this isnt a great method for testing how strong magnets are in a slot car chassis.

Ray, Thanks for sharing this knowledge :)

I read this sometime ago and remember it something like this ~ When a man shares his knowledge, its makes him very close to being immortal :D

Yes Luke, we should give this a try for our FTC cars at least since drivers do not switch cars and are stuck with what they get for the event. With our other "IROC" classes everyone drives each car.

Gordon ~ I have a Great

 FRC's PC, LS & FTC classes have 18 x 2mm bar magnets altogether - how about we do some of this magnet "old school" testing with their strengths and sort them out with this method for (3 x 6) light, medium & strong and change the 1 or 2 that may need to be changed...

We can workout which one of the 3 magnet strengths goes in which of the 3 six car classes.
