Hi Guys,
I spent a fair part of this weekend just about finishing my Triumph TR4A for Historic Saloon and building my rally car, a Subaru Impreza. Here are the specs and some pics:
Triumph TR4A
Body: 1/32 scale plastic Airfix assembly kit, unpainted
Chassis: MRRC Cobra
Front axle, wheels and tyres: Scalextric Cortina
Rear axle, wheels, tyres and gear: Scalextric Cortina
Motor: Scalextric 18,000 RPM FC130 (standard Scalextric motor), front mounted, inline
Driveshaft: Scalextric W8923 Motor w/ shaft for Maserati and Vanwall F1
Guide Flag: MRRC
Chip: Scalextric F1
Subaru Impreza
Body: 1/32 scale plastic Revell assembly kit, prepainted
Chassis: MRRC Sebring chassis
Front axle, wheels and tyres: MRRC
Rear axle, wheels, tyres and gear: MRRC
Motor: MRRC 21,000 RPM FF inline
Guide Flag: Slot.It
Chip: Scalextric F1
Here's what my performance garage looks like right now:
I still have to get the driver and navigator figures for the Subaru but otherwise the cars are now ready to start testing and tuning.
Have you got your rally car prepared as yet? Let us know below.
