This afternoon I finished off my final car for our next event (my Nissan R89C) and decided to try to move forward with a long outstanding conversion project. Got it to the point that I can run some tests with it , although there still needs to be some parts obtained and work done to complete it to comply 100% with the class requirements. I'd say it's about 95% there. Here's a pic of the underside:
Anyone care to take a guess at what car and class it is?

Well done Luke! I should have realized that you in particular would recognize it.
I still need to get correct wheels, tyres and wheel inserts. Once I do the tyres will be under the fenders and the car will look much more like the original.

Took a bit of work as the front, rear and part of each side are part of the original chassis (found this picture on the web, so ignore the arrows):
The interior also had to be shortened by removing about 3/16" from the bottom and a new floor added.

Luke, that was another mystery car. In that case, it was the Dodge Challenger.
