Hello all,

Here’s a recent Report (between Aug. to Dec. 2018) on Slot-cars / Sold ... for a few of my racing comrades.

The individuals not named (no particular reason) other than a first and second person reference

The 3 racing comrades & the amount of their cars for a price:

• Sold for first person .............. 13 cars for $3000 ~ average at $230 each.
  Note: six (6) were brand new slot-cars.
  
  Sold for second person ........... 18 cars for $3000 ~ average at $165 each.
  Note: all were pre-owned slotcars.
  
  Sold for third person ............. 10 cars for $3000 - average at $300 each.
  Note: all were pre-owned slotcars.
  
  In total .............................. 41 cars for $9000 ~ at an overall average of 220$ each.

What a coincidence with same overall ($3K) totals and “in my opinion” shows, when someone buys a brand new slot-car.

Most likely, there’s no re-sale value, so a person might as well have a go (race) with - keeping it in the slot

I would think that the value re-sale value of used slotcars would be quite low. The exceptions to this I think would be if the cars were in unused and in original packaging or if they were some extremely rare, hard to find car.

I agree.

Okay and added to the list ~ Selling for third person ~ but remember (to take into consideration) we are dealing with a bold & dreadful recession.
