Fairways Racing Complex Forum

After years of running an ageing version of the background forum software, I've finally brought it right up to date with the latest version. With this new version and with some extensions I've added come some additional functionality which i'm sure everyone will find useful. Amongst the new features are:

• A new look, including a new FRC logo. This new format is also easier to read on small screens such as phones and tablets.
• Display of Flash content (the lightning bolt icon when creating a post).
• Media embedding where the video shows directly in the post instead of having to click on a link and then be taken off the forum to a different web page (the screen icon when creating a post). Here's a post with an example: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1297
• A line of whatever height and colour you specify ("Line" icon when creating a post).
• A centred line of whatever height, length and colour you specify ("LineC" icon when creating a post). Our Class Rules 2018 now uses these.
• A blank line separator ("br" icon when creating a post).
• A simple thin horizontal line to separate sections of your post ("hr" icon when creating a post).
• Strikethrough text (like this) ("s" icon when creating a post).
• A useful "Jump to" popup menu to take you directly to any of the forum's main topics.

Hello Gordon,

You’ve explained all things very well (as usual) but this new FRC forum will take some time getting use to ... The older version ~ I got very good at, trying out the different things (over time) and the only one that was very difficult and just couldn’t get a grasp of - was posting personal pics.

When I get there again - hopefully it won’t be as difficult
