Recent TSCC Racing Event

Long story short.
On Saturday evening I made a trip down to Ramesh’s slotcar racing circuit.
The TSCC racing event from beginning to end (2pm - 2am) was grand as usual and the scheduled classes were SW, SC, F1 & MP cars. The SW class was a big hit for the newcomers and the MP class wasn’t done/raced because (believe it or not) there just wasn’t enough time. However in SC qualifying I got eliminated from the final four (4) drivers which turned out pretty exciting with the overall results n order below.
The F1 class was raced in a way that was never done before at TSCC. The final four (4) drivers in qualifying was Ramesh, Tony, Reshad & (yours truly) Luke T. plus in case anyone wondered what happened with Luke B. ~ he didn’t hang around at this point of the event.
That said and being late (11pm) a quick thinking decision (before we started racing) was made by Ramesh ... That we race one (1) race rather than the four (4) races. So we all agreed and a decision was made to keep our respective lanes and instead of 15 laps by 4 in alternating lanes. We raced one (1) very exciting “and an almost realistic feeling” F1 race of sixty (60) laps.
An easy and effective rule adjustment was made with the last ten (10) laps of the racing - that the kill switch wouldn’t be used during any simple one (1) car crash. The final results listed below.
Hope you’ll enjoyed the read,
Luke
