My historic cars are ready for next week

Post by gordon »

Because of work and CMRC commitments on the upcoming weekend, I spent the whole day and right into the night yesterday working on my cars for next week Thursday's Historic Saloon, American Pony Car and Vintage Sports races.

I did minor maintenance work on my HS Capri, adding a little ballast as it was not dropping off the USD block. I did a bit more on my Mustang and Challenger pony cars, but the largest amount of work focused on my two VS Cobras where a large portion of each of these cars was re-done. Hopefully the work will pay off. There's still more that can be done with all these cars and they will evolve as the competition dictates. Now I wish I could find the light lenses/covers to finish off the Cobra Daytona's looks!

All looking good Gordon. Looking forward to seeing the Challenger run again.
That Escort Mk 1 kit is still starring in the background ...!

Steve, when you no longer see the Escort in the background you'll know that I'm working on it!
