FRC's new SSD Programmer

Post by gordon »

Hi Guys,

I just received FRC's new stand-alone SSD Programmer, all the way from Sweden. The power adapter came from China and uses a single 9v battery.

From now on we no longer have to stop activities on the track to set car IDs.

Fantastic ! This, together with the recently commissioned track call buttons shows that we're really progressing well.

Thanks for the offer Ram. Right now we could use a few spare throttles if you can get your hands on any.

A handy looking device Gordon and you did well locating.

Remember (way back) when a separate 6-car (or even a 4-car) Power Base & just for setting car’s ID was considered but turned out it wouldn’t be feasible ..?

It’s as if you were working on a next solution all along :-)

Gordon and others,

Words that had me wondering what sort of slotcar clubs there are in Sweden and I came up with this very interesting link ...
However it is a very beautiful country (viewing online) and its location is NNE of the United Kingdom.

I enjoyed the pics and wirte-ups ...

Sure you’ll will too.
