Hi Guys,
This is a reproduction of an e-mail sent to the FRC mailing list on Monday 8th November at 7:37 PM
I was testing to see which of you were awake by intentionally omitting the pictures or a link from my previous e-mail. I only received two responses, so that doesn't bode well. Hopefully I get more responses after you see what's below.
Here, finally, is the new FRC:
An aerial view from above the car park/paddock looking towards Caiman Pond.
Looking to the pond from the highest point - the entry to the back straight. You can see all four levels from this view (flat, levels 1, 2 and 3).
The new downhill back straight. Note the unfinished fencing on the right. We can do some of that on Thursday too.
Three Porsches exit the hairpin and go past Caiman Pond. Who's going to be the first to wet their car?
Another view as they rush past the old stone wall that separates the track from the caimans.
Aerial view clearly showing the level changes.
Entrance to the car park/paddock from the pit lane. A bit of asphalt has stained the yellow wall.
A Subaru Impreza enters the car park/paddock.
Looking back down the steep climb after the esses that leads on to the back straight.
View from turn one.
Steep climb up the hill.
Looking across towards the downhill back straight.
The old Island Hobbies corner.
An Eagle Weslake '67 F1 car climbs the hill.
A Benz approaches the left-hander next to the retaining wall.
You'll notice that the original shape of the track has been maintained, but it now has a 3D aspect with the elevations. You may not be able to see it from the pictures, but there are slight camber changes (banking) in some of the new elevated corners. I believe that all these changes will add a new challenge to drivers as they try to get their cars around in the fastest possible time. Any guesses as to the times we will see? Quicker or slower? Bear in mind that Phases 2 and 3 should add some power to the track.
Hope to see you on Thursday so that we can get this thing finished and get back to racing.

Gordon ~ My personal comments on The New & Dynamic looking FRC Circuit.
When I was first invited to come and have a go at your impressive digital racing track, it was and still is a great pleasure for me to be a member/racer at FRC since Sat.29th Nov.2008.
Being an analogue racer before, for the past eight years - I was BLOWN AWAY from what I saw and experienced that night. I didn't think in my wildest dreams that it would happen almost every week after that, with 58 Race Reports to support the level of racing enjoyment and competition.
Now 2 years later (November 2010) to see this new FRC 3D transformation is so phenomenal and unbelievable at the same time...
Its a BIG JAW DROPPER!!!
A Special Thank You and Congratulations to your Hard Work and Dedication for making FRC so Exhilarating!
Luke
ps. My perdiction for fast lap times: Between Low Fives & High Fours nothing under 4.7 sec.
