WOW ..
Thanks Gordon for such an amazing amount of well guided information.
After reading through the details and for what it’s worth in gold ~ all inspiring ~ to help select items ... I would like to let you know I’m going to take your advice from a few days ago - me setting up at least one class/car to race for the season.
Not sure what date/event it will be ready to compete but know it will be in the F1 class.

Glad to hear Luke. Hope you stick to the plan.
Re: F1 McLarens ready to run
Hello Gordon,
I’m first to respond on the forum for some days now plus with what was mentioned on this topic and don’t want to be too lengthy ... so getting straight to some extra F1 thoughts ...
You remember at last race day in some light conversation I told you it’s probably best to purchase the complete OTB Allslotcar F1 model car ..? Which you seem to agree with (being cost effective) and then could make the needed adjustments rather than getting the body, a chassis and all the other individual racing components ...
We also spoke about the type 18K rpm (new regs) motor being the FK130 or the FC130 type.
Well here’s what I thought about even though it’s very obvious ... and can’t remember it being discussed ...
Am I free from any error with my thoughts ..
Luke

- The Scalextric model cars (2K onwards) with the chassis for FC130 motors can now be raced ..?

Re: F1 McLarens ready to run
Yes Luke, they can. As long as the motor does not exceed 18K based on manufacturer's specs.
