Mc Ncolls signing in.
Must say that my first experiences of digital scalextric racing at the Fairways Racing Complex was great to say the least. This means I have to get a digital set myself ASAP and also have to have some race ready cars to give you pros some competition.

Hi Dennoy,
Getting and setting up your own cars is a lot of fun and very rewarding. You can do it a small step at a time though, as FRC has IROC Class cars ready to race for those keen enough to attend race meetings and who may not have race-ready cars.

Hello Mc Nicolls,
Enlisting on the FRC forum is an excellent start to DIGITAL racing because over the years, lots of info/topics have been posted concerning this interesting pastime. There’s surely lots to read-up on but have to mention if and when setting-up slotcars with a Digital Chip (for racing) it could probably be burnt /blown in the process because it’s happen to each one of us some point in time ... It’s like some sort of FRC initiation.
Mind you - burning (blowing) your first digital chip may or may not happen because of the overall guidance available. Also, like how you were guided sourcing a (locally) Digital Set ... I would like to recommend (here) purchasing a set from http://www.electricdreams.com Electric Dreams in the USA.
Here’s a list of some cool and exciting SSD Sets available
You will get the FREE shipping in the USA but in T&T there’s the duty & tax with extra charges.
Something to think about going forward.
Luke

Trying to make it on the 23rd at the FRC but it appears at the moment that I would be unable. Was looking forward to the event with my son but as the cookie crumbled it looks like I will not be able to enjoy the excitement of the event this evening.
Re: Mc Ncolls signing in.
Sorry you couldn't make it Dennoy. It was a great evening.
