I was browsing the brand new Professor Motor website recently and came across the Digital Chips section ... One chip in particular caught my eye - the Carson CR500707130 Carrera Digital132 Chip for Scalextric DPR ... Priced at $39US compared to the regular C8515 at $15US ...
Noticed some differences with the two ... plus realized it's setup somewhat like the Slot.it SISP15B Digital Chip Module.
I quietly thought to myself how cool but wondered when will all this advancing technology (probably) slowdown.
It's most likely (one of the reasons) why I'm not so involved with digital or even analog tuning (for that matter) anymore because keeping up is such a flipping challenge
All the same - have a happy technological day

Digital Chips ...
Re: Digital Chips ...
Luke, that chip is for converting a Scalextric DPR car to run on Carrera Digital. It's of no use to us since FRC is Scalextric Digital.
Re: Digital Chips ...
Thanks for the (guided) info Gordon and felt it's something I should have figured out.
As I read your reply understood instantly ... and asked myself how could I have missed that simple SSD to Carrera Digital observation.
On a personal note ~ truly not in tune as I use to be :-/
