I read about this before. What's not clear though, is what type of motor pod and motor come with the car. I don't think that they would come with Slot.it motor pods so would it be a new type of Scalextric pod with a Scalextric motor and Scalextric running gear (ie. press-fit rims, gear etc.) ? If so, to get one of these running up to Slot.it performance levels would entail buying one of these Scalextric PCR cars and then purchasing the requisite Slot.it components. This could get quite costly.
I like the BMW Z4 a lot though !

I'm not sure myself Steve and although it sounds costly ... Scalextric SSD seem to be going with Slot.It technology anyway.

Just like Carrera DTM cars + Slot.It 3D Chassis/Scalextric SSD.
