RACE REPORT #205 - November 26th 2015 (NSS, SC)



Results

Three of our latest FRC "Group N" regulars arrived with their first self-owned cars, brand new Slot.It Challenge (SC) machines. Nissan Super Series IROC (NSS) was also supposed to run along with SC, however because we were running late and the three new cars needed chipping, we dropped the NSS races.



Slot.It Challenge (B) starting grid - four cars, three manufacturers - Mazda, Lancia and Porsche:






Slot.It Challenge (B) drivers, all but O'Brie racing their own brand new cars for the first time:








No one scored any IP points, positive or negative, because the starting and finishing places for all the races never changed. This has to be an FRC first.

As usual, don't forget to see the updated fastest times for the FRC classes to know what the benchmarks are for your cars, the updated class average qualifying times and the updated fastest times for 2015.

This was our last event for 2015 so I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great slot racing year in 2016. We have some new things to look forward to, including a second digital track, courtesy Rocky!

Very much enjoyed the night's racing, although we didn't race the Nissans and my Slot.it Challenge results were 4 4th places. It was great to see the enthusiasm displayed by Damian, Rocky and Edward, all of whom had brand new cars. Also good to see O'Brie back in the fray. As usual, the Bhola cars were the class of the field in SC (A). Congrats to Ram on winning this class. Congrats also to O'Brie on taking the SC (B) win with his lovely Mazda B787. As Gordon mentioned in the previous post, we had a most unlikely scenario with the results of all of the night's races being in the same order as the starting grids !
Looking forward to the next event (in 2016).

Hi guys , it was a good race night for the south team as well , i must comment on how the night turned out with three brand new slot it cars , and Steve , Gordon and Ramesh each helped the guys getting their new cars ready, i see some keen competition brewing here and some excitement for new comers for 2016 this shows a lot of promise.
