Informing others,

Thanks to Ramesh and Arden hosting this slotcar racing event ...

TSCC around this time last night - was buzzing with lots 132 racing cars in F1, GT and AM classes ... The place was filled to capacity with lots regular racing drivers (including myself), along with visiting body Steve Saney from Miami and other distinguish guest. In the sustenance area - tasty BBQ chicken was served hot off the grill and a well spread table with a number of other sides.

Mind you ~ I am not forgetting the liquid refreshment area - 2 huge coolers full of a mixture of cold drinks :D

I didn't do any racing in GT and AM (because of no race ready cars) and did notice now fast and intense these classes were with other drivers. I did have a time in F1 and if I had to sum up the night with 4 words ...

It was a BLAST :!:

I was also glad to be back home by 12:30 am ;)

Me again fellas,

Also having a chat with Steve Saney - here are some very unique slotcar racing characteristics done in Miami ...
  • Race Days: Every other Sunday evening 1:00 - 8:00 pm
Track: Figure of Eight (6 lanes) circuit - TRL approx. 49' in each lane. (Same as TSCC but longer.)
    • Main straight-away 16 full straights. (At TSCC its 14 full straights & approx. 44' TRL in each lane.)
    • Main straight-away is the overpass. (At TSCC this is the underpass.)
    Attendance: 6 - 10 persons
    Amount of classes: 14
    Races: 50 Laps
    Rally Car class: Magnetic
    Outlaw class: Non-magnetic
These were just some of the interesting points I could remember - compared to T&T slotcar racing.

Thanks for the info Luke. Sounds like the South boys put on a nice event. Interesting information about the Miami racing passed on by Steve Saney. Would be nice to have him try out some digital racing FRC-style.

Hey GG,

Its was the least I could do and a pleasure all because of the FRC forum usefulness - Race Reporting

Sure you would know Ramesh, Arden and others at the South Racing Ring did ask for you (and others form FRC) being present at this TSCC event. I didn't have an answer and said, sorry to say I could only speak for myself. I myself was kind of hoping to see you and Steve but that's a whole different story. Also reckon that the South boys spirit - hosting 132 racing events was inspired by North boys likeable racing events ... I forgot to mention there was also a DJ section at TSCC and on this note ... it was the only difference (TSCC and FRC events) and with Miami guest - Steve Saney trying out some FRC SSD racing.

Its somewhat so because like his name ... with FRC Racers - Steve and DJ Shane :D

BTW - Hope you noticed I didn't have analogue race ready cars too
