Congrats on your wins Ram. I enjoyed the close racing and competitive rallying with everyone, but you and I had some particularly close running. I can't help but mention Jon too. He's becoming a significant challenger at FRC.

It was undeniable an exciting event and equally so in both classes !!!
So much so - in the
heated (8 races @ 15 laps) MC
IROC contest ...
A half-time
(discharge recharge) stoppage, needed to be taken during this contest & it just so happen to be done with great understanding ~ in all having a beer
Even the normal old talk we would have in a group - took a major turn with the
Local Stock Market/
Shares and all verbalize by (newcomer) Edward. I must say - as unexciting this topic may seem for some, I noticed how he (Edward) had everyone's interest.
Overall - Thanks to Gordon for yet another entertaining evening of 132 racing plus these things he did for me personally - in this order.
- 1. Sponsoring me his Alpine A310 car in RC class and making a podium finish too.
2. Allowing me to put my new Scalextric (C3428) Club Exclusive BMW MINI No.8 car (BLT 7.9 sec.) in the foreground of the MC photo.
3. Presenting me with a Slot.It Digital Chip (prize) I won with the 50-60s F1 drivers history contest.
All in all - I think everyone had their share of entertainment and winnings - of course all in their own right
Btw - the No.8 BMW Mini was tuned to the same FRC 2015 general racing regulations.

Here's some quick details of how
heated the Mini racing was with 15 laps a race.
Mini Challenge car numbers 1 - 6 in
blue with 8 races and which number car came first in
red and by whom as well.
- • 1 2 3 4 5 6
1. 4 2 1 5 6 3 - Luke
2. 5 1 2 3 4 6 - Jon
3. 5 6 1 4 3 2 - Jon
4. 1 6 4 5 2 3 - Ramesh
5. 5 3 4 6 2 1 - Gordon
6. 2 5 1 6 4 3 - Ramesh
7. 4 2 3 1 5 6 - Ramesh
8. 1 4 2 6 3 5 - Gordon
Plus which car came first the most and done by which driver below ...
- • Number 1 car came first 2 times .... by Ramesh and Gordon
• Number 2 car came first 1 time ..... by Jon
• Number 3 car came first 3 times .... by Luke, Jon and Ramesh
• Number 4 car came first 1 time ..... by Ramesh
• Number 5 car came first 0 time ..... by no one
• Number 6 car came first 1 time ..... by Gordon
I think its is a good description of how
explosive this
IROC racing was with 8 drivers and only 4 placing first ... along with 5 cars out of 6 on the grid.

Great night of racing as usual at FRC. Very much enjoyed the close racing in the Mini competition. Nice looking Mini pace car Luke ! Too bad that in Rally class, I was only able to get decent lap times with my Impreza after the event. Think it'll be okay for its next outing though. Nice to see O'Brie pass through , even if he could not stay to race. Did some laps with my Historic Saloon Mustang in non-magnet configuration and found it a hoot. I think that we should really give this class a chance as a non-magnet one.
Congrats to all the winners.
Looking forward to the next event.

Some more
data but this time with the drivers ...
for most wins and points.
Races .............. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ... points
- 1. Jon .......... 4 1 1 5 2 3 0 0 .... 33 pts.
2. Gordon ..... 2 2 4 2 1 0 0 1 ... 39 pts.
3. Luke ........ 1 3 3 3 0 0 4 4 .... 27 pts.
4. Steve ....... 5 4 2 0 0 2 2 2 ... 29 pts.
5. Gabe ........ 6 6 0 0 5 5 3 6 ... 11 pts.
6. Ramesh .... 3 0 0 1 3 1 1 3 ... 39 pts.
7. Damian ..... 0 5 6 4 6 6 4 0 ... 11 pts.
8. Edward ..... 0 0 5 6 4 6 5 5 ... 11 pts.
It's quite clear Ram is the overall winner (with more wins) but feel qualifying should have been done with that extra Mini
"pace car" as suggested by me. Scoring would have worked out one time
computer wise getting that extra point making the difference with the (blue, red & yellow points) top three positions ..!

I would also like to mention here,
In the interest of fair play and persons being above-board during
heated IROC races ...
Here's a reminder for those of us who (purposely or genuinely) forget what is required of them with some of FRC regs.
FRC GENERAL COMPETITION REGULATIONS
Penalties: Rule no.4 ...
- • A "drive-through" penalty is served by entering the pit lane, coming to a complete stop, then resuming the race via the pit exit. This can be done at any time before the race ends. The driver must indicate that the drive through was done by clearly announcing "Drive through taken" otherwise the penalty will be considered not served.
This was brought forward because I decided to channel my discuss here with this recent report.
Its understandable things happen very fast in these
energetic IROC races but I for one (and I have also noticed many others) try to abide with the
user friendly FRC rules ... but when others are doing things for unfair advantages.
Its this way I choose to use making
(have to do with) my concern clear.
