Racing this Thursday (1st July)

Post by gordon »

Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice from around 6:30 PM on Thursday, followed by qualifying and racing. Scheduled classes are Historic Saloon and Slot.It Challenge. I'd also like to add Restricted GT as a third class before going on to our new class pairings next week (outlined here), starting with American Muscle and F1. If you're not clear on the regulations for any of these classes you can see them here.

Here's the timetable:
  • 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM - Open practice
  • 8:00 PM - 8:25 PM - Qualifying in 3 min sessions by class (up to 6 drivers per session)
  • 8:20 PM - 8:30 PM - Computing grid positions and setting car IDs (controllers)
  • 8:30 PM  - Racing starts
Ice Brigade: Brent and Dougie.

Vintage Sports Temptation

Revell-Monogram Jaguar E-Type "Lightweight" #15 Bob Grossman and Briggs Cunningham

See you on the circuit...

Gordon - how come you starting the new class pairings next week? Getting to know how orderly and meticulous you are - this Thursday being the first for the month would have been the ideal start of the new class pairings.

All in All - as orderly as you are and the person (FRC Boss) whose job it is to give orders for the enjoyment of the boys. I am good to go with it. I was just adding my "2 cents" and see you Thursday.

Luke,

During last week's event I mentioned that we would be racing HS and SC so I did not want to change things on such short notice since cars have to be prepped. Because we will a have Peter here for one more event, I decided to add the RGT class to give him (and everyone else) another class to have an opportunity for some wins.

Hope this explains it.

GG, you have done a fantastic job so far.

I have no problem with your decision.

Why, since Kamla became Prime Ministrist, everybody whant to give their "2 cents" ?

Maybe it is the "PERCY" aura to "DO SO".

Need some more COFFEE, will check back in a couple...............
