Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (20th August) for our Group C classes, Mini Challenge IROC - 6 races @ 20 laps, Rally Car - 3 five-lap stages per car, 1 car at a time (90 laps for 6 cars).

We'll also be having three "Novice IROC" races using our Ferrari Team Challenge F430s once we have two or more novices present, so bring along a couple of friends/family members and come have some fun. (Novices are persons who have driven at fewer than ten FRC events.)

For those of you without rally cars, remember that these are driven one at a time, so come along anyway - between these and the IROC Minis, you're virtually assured of cars to drive.

Remember that our events start no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:
  • Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
  • 8:30 PM SHARP - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
  • Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
  • Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
  • After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
You can see the 2015 class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.

Will be there for sure.
Hope none of the Minis I'm driving find themselves at such an odd angle as the one in the photo!

Hi Luke,
this would be to make up for the Mini and Rally event that did not come off on 23rd July.

Scalextric did such a significant overall job with a (item No. C2341A) replica of the Subaru in photo. Even with the smashed up head lamp, its like you can see a guide pin (under front of car) in the photo as well ...

Looking at the Subaru pic again, even the sides of the road looking like the sides of a FRC track course :D

Hey GG,

Its way before time but letting you know now, I cant make FRC racing this Thursday because I will be heading down TSCC to race plus have some important business (that you kind of know about) to clinch down south ...

Hope you understand,

Luke
