New class pairings for events?

Post by gordon »

Guys,

I'm thinking about reshuffling the class pairings we run at our events. Here are the current pairings and the sequence in which they alternate:
  • GT and F1
  • American Muscle and LMP
  • Historic Saloon and Slot.It Challenge
We now also have two new classes, Vintage Sports and Restricted GT, so here are the pairings and alternating sequence that I'm proposing:
  • GT and LMP (for a more realistic pair of classes which usually race together in the real world)
  • Historic Saloon and Vintage Sports (to step back in time and have a whole event with cars that really have to be driven)
  • Restricted GT and Slot.It Challenge (similar to GT and LMP above, but for cars with restricted modifications)
  • American Muscle and F1 (two classes that are never seen run at the same event in reality, but we have to run the classes and they're the only two left)
Let me know your thoughts.

That actually sounds more realistic and might be a good thing.

GG it look like you could work E-HARMONY :D This is a great pairing of the 8 classes we now run. FRC is progressing quite nicely and just have to wonder whats next on the agenda.

:?: When will we start this new sequence?

How about we start next week - Restricted GT and Slot.It Challenge

On another note - I would like to let you know I am getting alot of feed back (phone calls) from the guys about going to race (Sat.26th.) @ Valpark Shopping Plaza. In the Scalextric Open Modified "Analogue" car competition. So far,it looks like its going to be a good FRC turnout - will you make it too?

Like the idea, particularly the vintage racing night.
