Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (6th August) for our Group D classes, Modified Production - 3 races @ 30 laps, F1 - 5 races @ 30 laps.

Peter is here from Nigeria with a new Mod Prod car that he's looking forward to racing at FRC. We know that TSCC has racing for the next four Thursdays, however there are a few of us at FRC who are not making it to this week's TSCC event who would still like to race, including myself, Peter, Steve, Luke T, Keith and possibly Ian, Gary, Alex and O'Brie. If all these attend, we will have nine drivers present. Some of us have extra cars to make available to those without cars for the classes we are racing, so those who do, please bring them along.

Remember that our events start no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:

• Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
• 8:30 PM SHARP - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
• Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
• Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
• After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).

Love the photo of the Mini and the Alfa Romeo. Looks like the wheels have made contact but the actual bodies of the cars don't seem to have touched !

We at TSCC would have liked the north guys to join us, but next week is our IROC BENZ class and all are invited i do hope you can make the effort, we will miss racing with you all this wk and do wish you a pleasant evening , welcome back home Peter , i know you did show some interest in racing on our analog track , you are most welcome anytime,bye Ram
