Hi all this is a slot car bulletin , TSCC would like to announce to all racing enthusiasts that we have added to our lists of events a special class called the DTM MERCEDS BENZ IROC CLASS,with all cars prepped and sponsored by Bholas Motor Works Ltd, we would like to invite everyone to our race meet on Thur 16th at 6.30 pm , we will also have stock SW class as well. This is a special invitation to all members of the TNT model car assoc , if you really want to promote your events you can be in touch with us through this forum, because many times we here about your events after they are gone, and we have guys willing to take part , so we do hope to see lots of racers on Thursday, You can call Ramesh at 678 1920.

Hi guys i do hope you have a pleasant holiday, our analog racing at TSCC was very enjoyable , there were 24 racers out which included two females and two under tens, lots of racing and all done in the DTM BENZ CLASS . Tight racing , first place went to Jon but only winning by a pole point . Thanks to Luke T for making the trip down and being in the finals , which was very close . Our next race will be in 2wks , its f1 and lmp , you can call 678 1920 for more ,lets help this sport grow , other clubs should support each other events just by letting others know about the event, its only when you give you get and when you share you have more, these are living principles, you can use this forum to share local slot car up coming events, bye Ramesh

Yes, I had a relaxing holiday weekend and as you said, this new Mercedes AMG DTM IROC class was very enjoyable. I also noticed how all persons involved had a very exciting time racing those 6 Mercedes cars ... It's was very good of you setting up these 6 slotcars of yours for all to partake in an IROC racing competition. Now as thrilling as the racing was, if it wasn't for your first-rate commentating - the event wouldn't have been so action packed. It is another great talent you have with slotcar racing commentary.

Now, although I just manage to make it (lane 6) into the finals and cars were doing average 3.3 sec. lap times on (approx.) 42' TRL circuit ... This analogue racing was very fast and difficult to try and keep up with - especially with those 5 other regular racing (Shaun, Marlon, Kyle, Jon & Junior) guys. Nonetheless a thrilling night of 132 racing was had

I have to also mention the method used scoring points at TSCC for a win was very surprising at first but didn't take long to realize how effective it was ... for the person with the fewest amount of points (from their 6 races) being the Winner ..!

Example: with me finishing off in 6th. place at the end of event for my 6 racing positions (6th. + 5th. + 6th. + 5th. + 2nd. + 6th.) equals 30 points.

This was the final results/points I remember noticing on the score sheet for 120 laps per driver.

• 1. Shaun ............ 18 pts.
  2. Marlon ........... 18 pts.
  3. Kyle .............. 19 pts.
  4. Jon ............... 19 pts.
  5. Junior ............ 22 pts.
  6. Luke T ........... 30 pts.

Although, I didn't stay around long enough to findout how Jon pulled of a victory with him starting on pole.
