GG,
I know you were looking for & expecting great results with your D/Viper in
RGT but
out of sorts it didn't workout as significant as you expected.
Although, the results in
SGTC is a clashing difference
All the time used counting up the results last night - somehow I didn't hear your name call as a winner but this official score sheet, shows a difference story ...
Well done pulling off this victory
Luke

Luke, I was so surprised that I thought I'd made a mistake entering the results, so I checked it all again and it was correct. So I decided to look more closely at how it was added up on the results form last night and sure enough my final race result points were not included. When I added them to my tally written on the sheet, it matched the computer results.
Goes to show that the results aren't final till they're processed by the computer software.

Great night of racing as usual at FRC. In RGT was very impressed with Gordon's Vipers as well as Ramesh's new Nissan R390. Luke B's and Arden's cars were very fast as expected. Unfortunately my Porsche 911 GT1 suffered a downforce-eliminating incident in the third race and had to be retired. It worked well up to that point though. Dion's cars weren't quite up to speed for this event but hopefully some sorting can take place before the next one. In Scalextric GT, the racing was very close as usual and the final points bear this out. Congrats to Luke B. and Gordon on winning RGT and SGTC respectively and to Luke B. on the overall victory.
Looking forward to the next event.

Steve ~ It just goes to show ... how you must be careful what you wish for -
Racing Slotcars Non-Magnetic
Gordon,
Notice how 8 drivers in 8 races yield 6 race winners ...
- 1. Gordon ............ 2
2. Luke ............... 2
3. Jon ................. 1
4. Luke B. ........... 1
5. Steve .............. 1
6. Ramesh ........... 1
7. Arden .............. 0
8. Dion ................ 0
Yet your final race result points
weren't included
Well, look how I out qualified Jon in SGTC and yet still - he (in the first race) was ahead of me on the starting grid ...
Maybe you have to do this with racing procedures ... recording overall results on the race result forms.
Post a FRC warning letter to the
Event Steward ... notifying the individual that failure of duties to correct and prevent any future repeat of this violation may result in administrative action without further notice
