Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (14th April) for our Group E classes, Nissan GT-R Super Series IROC - 6 races @ 20 laps, Slot.It Challenge - 3 races @ 30 laps. Remember that our events start no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:

• Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
• 8:30 PM SHARP - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
• Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
• Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
• After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).

Here are the specific Slot.It Challenge class regulations (blue text indicates any changes for 2015). This will be used by the Tech Inspectors for checking each car:

• Slot.It Challenge (SC)
  For Slot.It brand Group C cars only - see Eligable Cars below.
  
  • Body: See Eligable Cars below. Body must comply with General item 2. Windows may not be tinted - interior must be visible.
  • Chassis: Standard for the particular model.
  • Interior: Standard for the particular model and must comply with General item 3.
  • Digital Chip: Slot.It brand only.
  • Motor: Standard Slot.It orange-endbell 21,500 RPM motor.
  • Gearing: Gears may be changed however axle gears must be Slot.It.
  • Motor Pod (where applicable): Motor pod may be changed but must be inline Slot.It.
  • Magnets: Single standard Slot.It "non-race" which may be positioned in any of the standard locations on the Slot.It motor pod.
  • Wheels: May be changed but must be Slot.It.
  • Axles: Standard for the particular model.
  • Tyres: May be changed but must be Slot.It.
  • Guide Flag: Free.

    • Jaguar XJR12
    • Sauber C9 Mercedes
    • Porsche 962
    • Porsche 956
    • Porsche 962 KH
    • Porsche 956 KH
    • Lancia LC 2
    • Jaguar XJR 9 LM
    • Nissan R390 GT1 (not a Group C car, but allowed)
    • Audi R8C (NOT the racing anglewinder model)
    • McLaren F1 GTR (not a Group C car, but allowed)
    • Toyota 88C
    • Nissan R89C
    The list will be expanded if and when other eligible models appear.
