Thanks Steve and Ramesh,
I did notice my prized (theme) collection of F1 (Alonso) Scalextric cars was very startling to all persons ... Especially when Alex and Boo saw how much F1 Scalextric cars, all in one place - Alex's eyebrows almost came off and Boo's eyes almost popped out
Sorry to say though, I didn't have a great night of racing like how you'll (plus and others) did especially Birthday Boy "Boo" but nonetheless I enjoyed the company of all present. Mind you, not complaining about not having a great racing night because know I'm not putting any effort into tuning my slotcars for racing events. This is the norm for me with racing atm - I always see where I can make a quick fix happen with one (or two) of my slotcars (eg: Mod Prod - Mustang FR500C) for the event. Know this method wont yield any great results & suppose simply put - its like I don't enjoy slotcar tuning so much again.
On the positive side though - I do enjoy seeing the other
Super Tune set-ups by other persons around.
At the same time - here's a list of the 7 F1 Scalextric cars collected through the years 2003 - 2009 ... of my favourite F1 driver F. Alonso & his World Championship positions
- 1. C2389 Renault F1 No.8 2003 .......................... Fernando Alonso - 6th.
2. C2582 Renault F1 No.8 2004 .......................... Fernando Alonso - 4th.
3. C2649 Renault F1 No.5 2005 .......................... Fernando Alonso - 1st.
4. C2723 Renault F1 No.1 2006 .......................... Fernando Alonso - 1st.
5. C2806 McLaren Mercedes F1 No.1 2007 ........... Fernando Alonso - 3rd.
6. C2863 Renault F1 No.5 2008 .......................... Fernando Alonso - 5th.
7. C2987 Renault F1 No.7 2009 .......................... Fernando Alonso - 9th.
... and because Scalextric finished their association with Ferrari in 2009 and the Carrera brand now holds the licence to be the sole producer of Ferrari slot cars.
I collected these Scalextric models (when they held the licence of course) to represent the years (2010-2014) when Alonso raced for Ferrari.
- 1. C2676A Ferrari F1 No.1 2004 .......................... Michael Schumacher
2. C2677 Ferrari F1 No.2 2004 ............................ Rubens Barrichello
3. C2752 Ferrari F1 No.6 2006 ............................ Felipe Massa
4. C3051 Ferrari F1 No.4 2009 ............................ Kimi Raikkonen
Here's a review vid of the last F1 Ferrari by Scalextric ... and was also raced very notable by Arden in the group A class. Also, Arden was correct when asked, what year this model was - 2009.

At this rate collecting - I may very well have to get from Electric Dreams - one of these F1 Carrera/Alonso models (2010 - 2014) to represent/complete the fifth year (2014) he raced for SF
- • Carrera 27323 Ferrari F1 2010 F. Alonso No.8 - $129.95
• Carrera 27417 Ferrari F1 2011 F. Alonso No.5 - $59.95
• Carrera - - - - - Ferrari F1 2012 F. Alonso No.5 - N/A
• Carrera 27466 Ferrari F1 2013 F. Alonso No.3 - $36.69
• Carrera 27496 Ferrari F1 2014 F. Alonso No.14 - $36.69
Thanks to GG posting a pic of my F1 collection cars displayed in the padock.
Have to let all know, as neat as they looked - they wont placed in the correct order and (may notice) one of the Renault cars missing ... from the line-up. It was left in the black carry bag by mistake.
I have a plan to put these (maybe 1 Carrera & 11 Scalextric) cars on a display board just like how the 997s, Lambos & F430
IROC cars are - some day soon.
