Guys, sorry to say that we can't race this week. I've been holding out the announcement pending Debbie's chikungunya status and now its my turn - it has snuck up on me. Pain all over (Alex will understand). I'll update you next week.

GG,

Being the outstanding (all round) leader that you are and not being well at the same time with this unwelcome virus ... it could never be an easy thing to deal with ...

Strangely enough though, the only good thing with this virus (Chi-kun-gun-ya) is how we take such dear time learning to pronounce it.

Wonder who came up with such a washed out sounding name anyway - yet it seems to be a very far-reaching one geographically http://www.cdc.gov/chikungunya/geo/caribbean.html and it looks like, its of biblical proportions too.

Just yesterday morning my son and mother was complaining of virus like symptoms and yes, confirmed that they both have chikungunya :(

I feel very sorry for them but at least they know I'm there for them and likewise GG, if you think there's something I can help out with - I am just a phone call away okay :)

Luke

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. We're serious competitors on the slot track, but we're a close group of brothers in all other things and I really appreciate your friendship.

Luke, I'm sorry to hear about your mum and son. This thing is very debilitating and unfortunately it willl have to run its course. Hope you don't get it.
