Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (28th August) for our new Group A classes, Mixed GT IROC - 6 races @ 20 laps, Restricted GT - 5 races @ 30 laps. As with all our IROC (FRC-owned) cars, you don't need to bring a car to race in Mixed GT, so come and have some fun with everyone driving equal cars. Remember that our events now start no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the schedule:
  • Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
  • 8:30 PM SHARP - Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
  • Winning cars will be checked for compliance with the regulations after the last race for each class (excluding IROC classes)
  • After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
You can see all the class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Here are the specific Restricted GT class regs (blue text indicates any changes for 2014):

Hi Gordon i was chatting with Simon Gilmore on the tower on sun about frc racing, and how exciting it is , Ray Rahaman from Guyana also has an analog 4 lane set that they use. Silbourne Clarke was there and he drove ZMMA on Sat during practice .It was a very nostalgic day and hadlots of fond memories for all.bye Ramesh, go to u tube cmrc 2 for videos.
