Hi Guys,
Based on discussions amongst FRC drivers, pit exit collision penalties have now been officially added to our regulations. Item 2 of the Stewards and Penalties section of the regulations now reads:
"If a car drives through or bounces a car ahead in the same lane causing it to de-slot, or if a car causes another car to de-slot when exiting the pits, a Steward will assign a stop and go penalty to the offending car and re-slot the victim's car. If the offending car de-slots as well, no penalty will apply, however the driver must retrieve the car as per a normal de-slot. The Stewards’ decision is final and may not be disputed."
This rule amendment takes effect immediately.
