Hi Guys,
FRC will be open for our milestone 2-hours endurance event from 3:30 PM tomorrow Saturday (7th June). The main competition will be the 2-hour race itself, however we will also be having supporting races prior to its start. Here's the tentative timetable (IROC races are open to all - cars will be supplied by FRC):

Alex will be supplying beef ribs and manning the BBQ, while various others have volunteered to bring along food to make up the meal. Everyone is invited to walk with liquid refreshments of your choice.
There will be a prize awarded to the driver who does the fastest overall race lap (not qualifying lap) in each Scalextric GT Challenge class (A & B), courtesy Luke T. Prizes are Scalextric "Easy Fit" C8515 Saloon & C8516 F1 DPR Chips.
Here's a list of the 2-hour endurance team entries thus far:
I encourage you to come along and bring others to enjoy an evening of fun and competition for this history-making FRC event.
Reality Checks - in keeping with the theme of our main event, they're all about the Sebring 12-Hours endurance race in the '60s:
Phil Hill, Lew Spencer and Ken Miles drove this Shelby Cobra roadster to 11th place and 1st in class at Sebring 1963.
Surtees - Scarfiotti Winning Ferrari 250 P at Sebring 1963.
Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe at Sebring 1965.
Graham Hill in the Alan Mann Ford GT40 at Sebring 1966.
Mike Parkes and Bob Bondurant drove this Ferrari 330 P3 at Sebring in 1966.
Mark Donohue and Walt Hansgen drove this Holman & Moody Ford Mk. II to a second place finish at Sebring in 1966.
Jim Hall and Mike Spence Chaparral 2F at Sebring in 1967.
See you on the circuit...
Gordon
