Hi Guys,

FRC will hopefully be open for practice/testing from 7:00 PM this Thursday (31st - Halloween!). I say hopefully because the house is in total confusion since tiling is starting tomorrow and there is stuff everywhere (it looks like a hoarder's house). If there's a change I will notify everyone. Scheduled classes are our Group B: Historic Saloon - 5 races @ 25 laps, Vintage Sports - 5 races @ 30 laps, Group 5 Sports Car - 5 races @ 30 laps. Please bring your cars ready to go. Here's the usual schedule:
  • 8:00 PM - Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
  • After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).
You can see all the class regulations here and the general racing regulations here.

Don't forget to bring along some refreshments.

GG - I must let you know these are the best photos ever to convey the type classes they are... Historic Saloon above all.

Will be there for sure (once racing is on). Like the photos as usual, particularly the Historic Saloon one. It is amazing that 1293 cc Minis were able to be competitive against much more powerful machinery, including 2000 cc BDA Escorts and 5.0 + litre V8 Mustangs and Fairlanes.

Thanks for the comments on the pics Luke and Steve. I actually spend quite some time finding appropriate ones for the classes, so I'm glad they are appreciated.
