RACE REPORT #140 - AUGUST 28th 2013

Ramesh brought along a massive dish of pelau and Luke brought - and cooked - a bunch of fries, all to go with our Porsche Cup and Modified Production races. With seven drivers present, we again had one person standing out for each race, so drivers were trying their best to avoid being that person.

With the exception of the final race, all the PC races were won by drivers named "Luke". In the end, it was an interesting class championship result. In MP, three drivers again took all the wins, however the points were spread a little wider than in PC.

It was another great night of racing (with the added enjoyment of the food thrown in - thanks Ramesh and Luke!) and another opportunity for a great time missed by those who didn't make it. The IROC classes like PC are always perfect opportunities for those without cars to come and race on an equal footing with everyone else. Don't miss the next one!

Very enjoyable evening , great racing and fellowship, the golden fries by Luke t and paleau went down well , Boo said wings next wk, thanks to all,Arden was a good surprise after about two months out, still did not loose his touch, tight racing as usual, Gordon had a rough night, just being at the end of some crashes, thanks Gordon for your hospitality , Steve great fun racing with you, see you all next wk , bye Ram

Great evening of food at FRC. Ramesh's pelau was great ! Even got to carry some home. Luke's fries and (I believe) Boo's coleslaw also went down just right. Thanks to all who contributed. Oh, almost forgot the kuchela and pepper sauce which added the finishing touch.
The racing that we managed to fit into the evening's proceedings was also very enjoyable and close as it usually is these days. Congrats to Luke B. on winning both classes raced and to Luke on new Porsche Cup lap record.
