RACE REPORT #120 - MARCH 14TH 2013
Hi Guys,
We had just enough drivers for our first official Mini Challenge event to have a grid of six without any extra drivers having to stand by on the sidelines. With each driver driving each car over the six races, there were a mix of results, so much so that at the end it was anybody's guess as to who would be champion. Unfortunately for Steve, in one race he came upon a stationery Arden who was waiting for a deslotted car to be removed and suffered a stop and go penalty for deslotting Arden. Through a misunderstanding he never served the resulting penalty and was demoted from his first place to last. This lost him some precious points.
Before the Mini races, we had a test/practice session which saw various cars being taken through practice laps. I for one was able to refresh my memory about work needed on the five or so cars I tested from my stable, so it was certainly wotrhwhile for me.
The results
Next event's classes: Lambo Series - 6 races @ 30 laps, F1 - 3 races @ 30 laps, Modified Production - 3 races @ 30 laps. Don't forget to see the updated fastest times for the FRC classes to know what the benchmarks are for your cars. Also of interest are the updated class average qualifying times.
See you on the circuit...
