RACE REPORT #116 - JANUARY 24TH 2013
Hi Guys,
A small turnout of just five drivers attended our 116th event for FRC's American Muscle, GT and LMP classes. Despite this, competition was as furious as ever and some very quick times were set. Several races saw first and second (and sometimes third) places being separated by fractions of a second.
Mike received a true baptism of fire with his first foray into these super-fast classes and both his car and his spirit took a beating. However, he's already rising to the challenge with plans to alter his approach to slots in a determined bid to gain the experience he currently lacks to be a front-runner. I'm sure he'll achieve his goals.
The results
Congratulations to the winners.
Next event's classes: Ferrari Team Challenge - 6 races @ 30 laps, Rally Car - three 5-lap stages per car (1 car at a time). Don't forget to see the updated fastest times for the FRC classes to know what the benchmarks are for your cars. Also of interest are the updated class average qualifying times.
See you on the circuit...
