"Regulation creep" appears to have resulted in some changes in performance in some cars in the F1 class. I'm reproducing below FRC's F1 regulations, as agreed by us all.
Formula 1:
- Body must be modeled after a car which competes in F1 racing. As an interim measure, Indy Car models will also compete in this category.
- A single bar magnet and button magnet can be used to improve downforce.
- Any tyres may be used.
- Standard 18,000 RPM FF motors must be used in F1 models. Indy Car models may use either the standard 18,000 motors or Slot.It 21,500 RPM motors.
