One little problem. The spec calls for cars from 2016 onwards. Steves car is a 2015. Need to change the reg i think

Maybe I am wrong about Steve’s car after all as I cant get his car on Scalextric site??? but the choice of 2016 eludes me. Why they year?

O'Brie, It was based on this Scalextric post (I figured they would have a good reason):

Remember, these are my "proposed" regs. There's always room for change.
So which car are you planning to get?

My initial research indicated that these cars raced in the BTCC from 2015, so the period should really be from 2015 onwards.

Yep 2015 is a good move. Thanks for assisting with the car this a.m. it was an early start to the day and I have been neglecting the boat. Looking forward to getting the car soon! Worked on the SB mini, rally and i have the F1 to do the magnets. Then on to the 250 GT and the Capri. Doubt I’ll get any further with Real F1 viewing as well
