Track Calls

I've been going through the PB Pro manual and there are tons of features, many of which I remembered, some of which I didn't remember or even know about. One that I did remember was the ability to have "Track Calls" enabled. Here's an explanation from the manual:
A race can be stopped at any point by pressing the Set key, however it cannot be resumed. However a race can be paused by pressing the brake button on a throttle if Track Call is enabled. The race can be resumed by pressing any key.
Since this is built into the PowerBase programming, surely it will not cause cars to miss laps, right? Why don't we try activating this feature at our next event as an alternative to the manual buttons and see how it works? We can deactivate the manual buttons to prevent any being erroneously hit.

Think it's worth a try?

Yep. Worth a try but i suspect that we will have to devise a penalty for false calls as in the heat of the battle anyone could accidentally press it and stop the race where as this is less likely where you have to choose to do a deliberate act of “slapping” the button. a penalty would make us think first ???
