Guys,

As luke pointed out in another post (viewtopic.php?p=5992#p5992), following are the three remaining regularly-scheduled dates and classes for our 2017 season:

• Race Day No. 243 on Nov 09 - HS, APC & VS6075
  Race Day No. 244 on Nov 23 - RC, SC & F1
  Race Day No. 245 on Dec 07 - MP, RGT & RLMP

I'd like to know if you'd be interested in having some sort of special end-of-year event. There are some suggestions in the same post referenced above.

So the questions are:

1. Would you like a special event in addition to these?
2. Would you like this event to be on a Saturday afternoon/evening?

Keep in mind that the latest I can do a Saturday event is December 16th.

Hi just to finish up the regular season is looking quite tight. i will also be out of country from 18 th Dec to 1st Jan.Sat 16th might be tough.

OK Ram, based on your schedule, we can do something like this:

• Race Day No. 243 on Nov 09 - HS, APC & VS6075
  Race Day No. 244 on Nov 23 - RC, SC & F1

We can then have a closing special event on either Saturday 2nd or 9th December.

I'd be happy for the three regularly scheduled dates and classes in addition to a special event on Saturday 16th (preferably) or even Thursday 14th. If this would not be practical for Ram et al, I'd gladly go along with Gordon's second suggestion of two regularly scheduled dates and classes in addition to the special event.

I believe completing (locking up) the FRC 2017 season before the expected time and starting back as soon as brand new in 2018 would be good move for you, Ramesh and everyone else ...

• RD243 Thur. Nov 09 - RC, SC & F1
  RD244 Thur. Nov 23 - MP, RGT & RLMP
  RD245 Thur. Nov 30 - HS, APC & VS6075 ... As the Speiial Event "semi-endurance" Racing ... or even (Sat. Dec 2) two days later ..?

So how about this suggestion (again) for Race Day 245 due to the self-evident fast pace times we're now living in ...

Also - I'm sure you noticed I didn't mention anything about IROC racing because it's obvious it's not such a favorite with the regulars and only depending on the drivers turnout - you then decide what to do.

• Plus and if I could remember correctly (sure you won't mind) you told me some time back - 2018 will be officially the 10th. year of FRC's existence ... I stand corrected.

Hi guys thanks for the comments and working together so that we can all enjoy as much time of slot car racing as possible. I have made some changes to my travel plans. Now leaving on 17th Nov and returning on 27th Nov, this was confirmed today. If we can work around those dates i will be happy to finish up our racing in all classes. Thanks Ram

Hi all,
I'd be okay with any changes to the schedule to accomodate Ram's travel plans. I would however, like the next event to be the HS, APC and VS classes which we missed out on racing last week.

Steve, I would also like to race the scheduled HS, APC and VS classes and that's going to be our next event's classes.

Thanks guys i am all set for our planned races as per our regular schedule. see you all on Thursday.
