POSTPONED TO 26TH OCTOBER

Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM this Thursday (7th September) for our Group C classes - Modified Production (MP), Restricted GT (RGT), Restricted LMP (RLMP). We'll run special IROC races for newcomers if we have at least two new drivers present.

We plan to start at 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:

• Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
• 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes). Cars will be moved to the parc fermé location after they are inspected and comply with the requirements.
• Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
• Post-race Technical Inspection (if required).
• After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).

Key points to pass tech inspection:

• Modified Production - Motors up to 23,500 RPM; no American muscle/pony cars allowed; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); magnet location restriction if motor exceeds 20,000 RPM; USD rule.
• Restricted GT - Motors up to 23,500 RPM; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); USD rule.
• Restricted LMP - Motors up to 25,000 RPM; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); USD rule.

Good morning fellas,

I was home from work yesterday about 6:30pm and planned on going FRC ... leaving home around 7:45pm to reach just in time for racing ... I had a bath and was ready by 7:15pm (a bit early I thought) and decided to take a power nap and that's where plans changed.

I didn't get back up till 9:15pm ... I was amazed how 2 hours went by sleeping and simply didn't want to bother my brother because his vehicle was already parked (in the driveway) in front my car.

Long story short - my day starts a 3:30am and really sorry I missed out on FRC racing Thursday night.

Enjoy the new day and sure you'll will understand.
