RACE REPORT #230 - March 29th 2017 (HS, APC, VS6075)
Because of the Thursday public holiday, FRC's event was held on the Wednesday night. This made for a more relaxed atmosphere for our classic classes, Historic Saloon, American Pony Car and Vintage Sports '60-'75. Despite there being only six drivers present, racing was close and full of the usual fun, with tight lap-after-lap battles on track and a lot of "old talk" in between races over some beers. After the races we kept the track down for some try-outs of each other's cars and I actually didn't hit the bed till after 2:30 AM!

Next event's classes: Class grouping C - Mini Challenge IROC (Avg of 6 races), Rally Car (3 stages of avg of 6 cars), Slot.It Challenge (3 races).
As usual, don't forget to see the updated fastest times for the FRC classes to know what the benchmarks are for your cars, the updated class average qualifying times and the updated fastest times for 2017.
See you on the circuit...

Great night of racing at FRC.
Even though driver turnout was not large, it was a very enjoyable meeting, made more so due to the public holiday the next day which meant that we could have limed later. We did !!
There was a nice collection of cars present, including some newly appearing ones such as O'Brie's Ford MkIV and Capri as well as Ramesh's DeTomaso Pantera.
Congrats to Ramesh on winning all classes raced and , of course, Champion Driver of the night. Congrats also to O'Brie on his Index Of Performance victory.
Looking forward to the next event.
