Hi Guys,

FRC will be open for practice, testing and racing from 7:30 PM next Thursday (19th January) for our 2017 Group A classes, Mixed GT IROC (Avg of 6 races), Modified Production (3 races), Restricted GT (3 races).

Remember that we try to start our events no later than 8:30PM sharp. Here's the usual schedule:

• Free practice and testing up to 8:30 PM
• 8:30 PM - Technical Inspection (excluding IROC classes).
• Qualifying followed by racing. Drivers not ready when called to grid will be replaced by any standby drivers who are ready.
• Post-race Technical Inspection (if required)
• After racing - Packing up and liming/old talk (but not too late!).

Key points to pass tech inspection:

• Modified Production - Motors up to 23,500 RPM; no American muscle/pony cars allowed; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); magnet location restriction if motor exceeds 20,000 RPM; USD rule.
• Restricted GT - Motors up to 23,500 RPM; 1.0 mm ground clearance (see the "General" section of the class regulations for a picture of how this will be checked in 2017); USD rule.

Will be there for sure. I'm very excited about getting back to racing and interested in seeing how the 2017 rule changes will affect performance.

Looking forward to this meeting very much but would like to request that we adhere to the schedule as closely as possible as I need to leave no later than 11 PM. Would really like to race all classes but if this is not possible, I'd like to at least get the MP and RGT in.

Agree with you Steve. I want to get started ASAP once the south boys arrive.
